Usage:
  1) Estop OFF  (F1)
  2) Machine ON (F2)
  3) HOME All   (Ctrl-Home)
  4) Explore external offset functionality
     using the sim_pin gui to alter the
     per-axis hal pins:

     e:xcounts  (sig to => axis.x.eoffset-counts)
     e:ycounts  (sig to => axis.y.eoffset-counts)
     e:zcounts  (sig to => axis.z.eoffset-counts)
     e:clearall (sig to => axis.*.eoffset-clear)

Note: The external offset interface is
similar to the interface for wheel jogging:

Input hal pins:
  axis.L.eoffset-enable (bit)
  axis.L.eoffset-clear (bit)
  axis.L.eoffset-scale  (float)
  axis.L.eoffset-counts (s32)

Requested offset == counts*scale
